Day 6

 My journey started on Saturday August 11th, 2012.  I was not at my heaviest weight that day, but close enough.  Myself and 3 of my close friends decided to travel this road together.  Weight Watchers worked for all 4 of us, but let's face it, it is expensive and we believe we can do this as a small group.  So.... after measuring and weighing in, it was decided that we would meet every Saturday morning, each taking turns hosting.  The host cooks a healthy meal, provides nutritional information and recipes.  During this time, we talk about our challenges, motivate each other, exchange ideas and share experiences.

I do not want to post my weight, nor should I need to.  On a weekly basis, I will share my weight loss, some yummy recipes, motivational quotes and tips.  I am not an overly active person, but I will try to at least walk, do my stepper, and hope to one day put on a swimsuit and hit the pool.

I plan on posting pictures throughout this journey, and blog at least 3 to 4 times a week.

Hopefully I will be able to provide others with useful information and links, but my greatest wish is to be an inspiration to at least one person, and that person might be you!
